hihi! happy may 4th c: ! 
          
          just updating all of you about everything going on, as i cannot bring myself to continue silver silks. at least not in the way it is currently. all i find when i go back to look at what was written are flaws, which makes sense as i wrote so much so quickly and burned myself out entirely doing so. if i ever do go back to lyra, i would likely change a LOT about her and her relationship with anakin. i must have been blinded by hayden christensen writing this, because all my life anakin has never once been a character i thought about so much as i did when writing silks. and i dislike that he doesn’t feel true to anakin in my story anymore. i feel like ive lost the snarky angry 19-21 year old i wanted to counterpart with lyra. 
          
          so, as i know so many of you love it, would you prefer i leave it be, not editing their story together (including the grammatical errors/repetitiveness), or attempt a rewrite? i can’t promise anything, but it would be VERY different if i find the motivation again to work on it. 
          
          ive wanted to work on other stories here but feel so horrible leaving you all hanging so i haven’t posted anything. especially star wars. i almost made an entirely new account to post on lol. 
          
          but i wanted to let you know as i am pretty positive i posted the first chapter of silver silks on may 4th, it felt like the right day to do so.

hihi i swear i have been trial writing just to get back into things but here is an update lol 
          
          winter is always my star wars resurgence period, and its snowed so much as of late that ive been itching for it! hopefully once my christmas gifts are ready ill have time to go full swing back into publishing chapters :) ive been re-reading the first book and already want to make changes lol.  i promise to prioritize signal drift over editing silver silks though! 
          
          obvi myself and the rest of the world are on a stranger things streak so all of my trial stuff has been st related!! not sure if you guys would ever be interested in any of that- ive been working on an oc that is max’s older sister, tailing the steve and dustin path starting in season 2 :) #1 max fan over here
