So I spent the morning today celebrating my two-year-old turning three next week, but this day is also a celebration of my two-year-author-anniversary, as well as the release day for To Regret a Raven

          So, that being said, I wouldn’t call myself an established author by any means, but I’m beginning to feel those growing pains of having my early work get stolen and butchered. Especially because I’m making some big changes to the Raven novellas. I’m introducing a bunch of new characters, changing up existing characters, remapping some storylines, and having them properly edited before moving to Kindle. 
          
          So, I’ve decided to go ahead and pull the Raven Novellas off Wattpad on August 1, 2026, in advance of Regret being published on August 8th. The original drafts will remain available to read through the Hive Mind, until I near their publication dates. 
          
          To Echo a Falcon will likely be finished in the fall, and then will remain available to read here through the end of 2026. 
          
          Beginning in January 2027, however, the only story available to read on my WP account (in its entirety) will be Coldplayed — which will remain indefinitely. I do not plan to publish that short story to Kindle. 
          
          The future spinoff series that I have planned for the Raven world , however, will be launched through Hive Mind. 
          
          I do want to clarify though, that I don’t think there is anything wrong with reading or writing on Wattpad. I’ve read on Wattpad for years. Wattpad launched my (hopeful) writing career. I have a lot of gratitude in my heart for the authors and readers I met through this platform. I actually still have some of the early comments from my first stories saved to my desktop, which serve as a consistent source of motivation and inspiration. 
          
          So I just hope y’all understand where I’m coming from and I hope you continue to follow this journey, whether you’re on socials, Patreon, or Kindle. I appreciate y’all more than you know!

          Hey everyone!
          
          I wanted to pop in here with some general updates about my future plans for Wattpad. For those who follow me outside of this platform, you’ll know that writing has begun to turn into something a bit more tangible and real than I ever believed it would be for me. And I know I owe a lot of that to this community. 
          
          This platform is a brilliant place to launch a new pen name and grow an audience, but after a while, the negatives do begin to outweigh the positives. Such as:
          
          >Thieving. For those who aren’t familiar with the author experience, we get no protection here. If a story/account starts getting attention, the thieves descend, and our books get ripped apart and loaded to a dozen different PPC sites that make it very difficult to transition to places like KU, where exclusivity is strictly enforced. 
          
          >Financials. Wattpad provides no financial support to authors, even when the stories attract readers who pay to use the platform. 
          
          >Toxicity. I’ve always been a huge advocate for reader voices. I want all the commentary, especially the negative, because it teaches me how to be better. However, there is a certain, unique toxicity that develops in Wattpad comment sections. Harassment, threats, entitlement, etc. I got a taste of it with CM, but after seeing what some of my author friends have experienced, it’s made me extremely wary of moving forward.

          "To the Wattpad readers"
          Your writing grabbed me and kept me wanting to know, "What next?".
          Unfortunately, not all who want to write can do that.
          But I always try to be kind, even when it is hard to be kind 
          
          I still follow you over hat the Hive. And I hope every book you write grabs ppl and keeps them wanting more
          Now that I am not sick any longer, off to read the ARC version

Hey everyone - I just wanted to hop in with some news and updates. 
          
          The first is that the new and improved version of Cheating Minds is officially available for pre-order on Amazon. Here is the link: https://a.co/d/0ilJud23 . The paperback pre-order should show available in the next day or two (it's still pending approval). And the release date is April 12!
          
          If you'd like to submit your name for an advance reader copy, there will be links up on my social media tomorrow (ARCs will be sent out on April 1) - along with an opportunity to win a membership to the Hive Mind Patreon 
          
          And the other exciting news is that To Regret a Raven is next up for publication ♥️ I am targeting August 2026 for this release, with a full revision and more than double the word count! 
          
          However, since it is next up, I will also be pulling the story off Wattpad and Patreon in one week (April 1). This was my first story and is very close to my heart, and I cannot wait to share the revised version with y'all.
