          i think that what happened at the maze runner series might probably happen in real life like-
          
          the sun flares; we all know that the ozone layer is going thin due to pollution, so what IF people doesn't stop making pollution? the ozone layer would collapse and sht like that and BOOM! sun flare.
          
          the flare; one of some countries' problems are over population, so what if they released some sort of a sht like the flare to ' control ' population? what if that sht goes bad and becomes a fcking virus?
          
          and the fact that today's technology is becoming more advanced; who knows? maybe WHO will be the WCKD on this sht and put us in a fckng maze as a experiment and sht?
          
          don't forget the grievers, i hope they make something more friendlier that those creatures.
