Hi everyone! Decided to go post on wattpad again, last I had a continuing story was 2019 (4 years ago believe it or not!). It's set in World War 2, about some brave pilots and ground troops who fought to defend Java against a Japanese invasion.

Funnily enough, some of these troops came from the Texas Army National Guard. I grew up in Texas state. So how a few hundred Texans gave their all to defend Java - thousands of miles away from where they enlisted - has a special place in my heart.

          	Check it out here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/351973145-last-flight-of-the-buffaloes-a-world-war-ii-story

Dearest followers, I've just released a short story, titled 'God Lives in the Veins of Men' and you can read it right here: w.tt/GodLives1825 (or via my profile).

It follows a Dutch cavalry officer in the opening days of the Java War (1825) though it touches on topics more fundamental than the war itself. Check it out if you've got the time!

Hi all, it's been about 3 years since I got back on Wattpad and it's good to be back... Life has only recently taken a good turn so I'm back to writing!

Anyway! I just posted a new story called '1821.' in short, it follows the story of English 'gentleman' James Simpson, who was a lieutenant (now retired in half-pay) during the Napoleonic Wars struggling in civilian life, and eventually takes him to the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) as a soldier in the Royal Dutch East Indies Army (Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch Leger or KNIL for you Dutch speakers!), participating in the bloody Palembang Wars.

I would be very grateful if anyone could check it out, and would be greatly thankful for any feedback. Have a good week, all!

          Best wishes,
          Rick

Hey, Ive been reading the Rebellion book and the Black Eyes, i think that's what it was I can't really remember. I must say damn brilliant pieces of work. What caught my eye was the cover. Ive been trying to make a book of mine sail for quite a while, but I can't find a good cover, would be appreciated if you could tell me who makes it, or where you made it. Keep up the great writing.
