something’s off… i always knew heeseung would pursue a solo career, but i never thought he would leave enhypen and yet stay in the same label. releasing solo music without leaving the group is common. and mind you, they were still happy during the fansign yesterday. their contracts end in 2027 anyway, they could just announced it then… so why on a random tuesday?
I was thinking of three possible reasons:
1. The members might not want to renew their contracts, and the company had to secure Heeseung’s career. (But that still feels off…)
2. There’s a big issue, and they had to pull the Heeseung card to cover it up. (But it would be absurd to kick him out of the group.)
3. Heeseung had a huge fight or problem with the members. (Possible, but they’ve been through a lot together, and they could’ve made up later.)
Sometimes I wish some sasaeng would reveal the truth…
