@-gardenintool As a Draco Malfoy fan(atic), I am personally offended ;)
I get that he does have the reputation of being a little shit (which is a huge part of why I love him, say what you will but his insults are pure gold.) but people tend to forget about the times he actually did good-ish things. E.g in Goblet of Fire, he warned the golden trio about hiding Hermione from the Death Eaters, in Half-Blood Prince, when he lowered his freaking wand risking his death by the Dark Lord's hand just because he wanted a second chance and don't even get me started on Deathly Hallows.
Also... he's just so freaking relatable, okay! I mean, come on, in the movies when Lupin was teaching them the spell to banish the Boggart and he was like, "This class is ridiculous." I had literally just said the exact same thing. I had to pause like, woah.
Also, I admire and love his loyalty to his family. Even in the cursed child, you can just feel how attached he is to Scorpius and how he is so ready to attack (and did attack) anyone who hurts him.
Plus, even though he didn't stand up to The Dark Lord, you have got to admire his balls. He literally continually berated and attacked the only person alive who HAD stood up to The Dark Lord AND won. Who had survived an unsurvivable curse, who had a really strong flair for Defense of the Dark arts, and if gossip is to be believed, the strongest wizard alive.
Yes, I am talking about Harry Potter.
Sorry if I got a bit carried away and no hate. Most of my friends strongly dislike Draco so I am used to making this argument.
But I appreciate your views and perhaps you can expantiate on why you don't like him? I do love a good debate.
