GUYSSSSS I have a plot. Um. I haven't written it yet. But HEAR ME OUT.
Kim Yuna (29) was the daughter of one of Korea’s largest corporations—accomplished, competent, and still tethered to her family’s expectations. Independence, for her, had always come with conditions. So when the engagement was arranged, she accepted it with grace and a quiet hope that perhaps this wouldn’t be as suffocating as everyone warned.
Park Jimin (31), heir to Park Jeongin’s empire, was beautiful in a way that felt unreal. Polite. Immaculate. Unreachable. She fell of course. She told herself that maybe arranged marriages aren't that bad like people make it out to be. Perhaps there's hope. Perhaps.
That however, may god bless, shattered minutes after the wedding. Because she realised Park Jimin, her husband, the sweetheart he is, is also the biggest asshole ever alive.
“I’m gay,” he said, as if announcing the weather.
For one violent second, she imagined smashing a porcelain vase over his head. Scream at his face. Instead, she nodded. Try to keep herself together. She was a kind woman. Understanding. The betrayal, however, clung to her skin like a brand. Burning her.
Days passed. Then weeks. And something didn’t add up.
Jimin wasn’t relieved. He wasn’t freer. He watched himself constantly, too cautious and too aware. He flinched at the wrong moments. Lied too carefully.
He wasn’t gay.
He was hiding.
Yuna didn’t confront him. She observed. And then, quietly amused by her own patience, she decided to clock him.
She suggested dates. Men he might “like.” He dodged them all, clumsily, predictably. Each excuse confirmed what she already knew.
And Yuna reached her limit.
If he wanted to perform, she would give him an audience.
Then comes Jeon Jungkook. Famous actor and a former idol. Openly gay. Kim Yuna's forever bestfriend. If there were anyone who can call out Park Jimin's bullshit and set her free from this sham of a marriage without any harm, he couldn't be more suitable.
