I wrote these true life stories over a period of 25 years. They first started out as an effort for me to learn how to type on my first laptop.
My kids insisted last year I put them to print for them to have as a keep sake, long after I'm gone.
These stories are just a few of the things I remember as being comical while growing up and I have had a blast putting them down on paper. Although my sense of humor might be a little warped; I have always found there is always something funny in all our life's experiences, if we look hard enough. The next series of stories I've told time and time again to the extent that family and friends have asked me to put them down in print, knowing full well that memories eventually get lost; forever. Some of these are gems. You will notice there is generally a common theme of EMBARRASSING situations woven throughout most of these stories. I haven’t been afraid to tell them. If you’re honest with yourself, you too have been faced with unspeakable predicaments and have been afraid to tell anyone for fear of being embarrassed. Most people won't tell stories that have compromised their integrity. I feel this is unfortunate because they are some of the best story treasures that are buried forever, I’d rather swallow my pride while I’m still alive and write them down so my kids can have some laughs long after I’m gone.
Note: Please plow through the first few stories as they are a slow start, simply because nothing much funny seemed to happen until I reach age ten or so.
