okay, not reading-related but a little life update: i finally got to wear the sablay : D and to top it off, my little thesis project was nominated for the best thesis award !!! man, it still feels surreal
okay, i have this habit of reading comments, and honestly, there’s a good reason why character analysis is more important now than ever (especially when a book tackles mature or heavy themes).
i get that some people are just in it for the kilig, and that’s totally fine. but reducing the story to just that feels like a huge disservice—not only to the book, but to the author as well. because there’s so much depth in why a character behaves a certain way, and taking the time to understand that adds so much more meaning to the story.
@robb8rs tho sometimes i think it's becos some of them r too young nd it reflects on the things they say so i don't engage na BUT MAN IT GRINDS MY GEARS
