I read almost any genre, with no strict preferences, though the last year has seen total immersion in mysteries and thrillers. I write romance. For my first participation in NaNoWriMo in 2013, I let fly with a lighter style and used a mystery as a framing device for the romance. It was so much fun! And I recommend NaNoWriMo to every writer, whether new or experienced; whether published or not. Long live the deadline!
