          Memories hit 20k reads.
          
          I wrote that fic in the height of the first covid lockdown, struggling to reignite my passion for writing and really finding it hard to be happy. 
          
          To see that work be appreciated so much - 20 thousand times to be exact- is absolutely crazy to me, and I am so SO grateful.

          It’s been a while, too long has passed since I’ve taken the time to update you all.
          
          First of all, I want to say a massive thank you for the continued love and support on Memories, which has just surpassed 19k reads. 
          I really do love that book with all my heart.
          
          Second, I’ve been using tumblr to write shorter, more detailed fics! If you’d like to keep up with me there, my user is @maelialuv and I write a lot of Steve Harrington stuff, but I’m beginning to branch out into other TV shows and movies.
          
          I hope you’re all doing well, I’m considering taking Eros over to tumblr since I have a bit more support on there but I’ll keep you up to date with that!

          just wanted to tell u i love ur finnick books and i wanted to ask why the second book is called eros? is it bc of the greek god?

Sorry for a late reply! 
            
            I chose Eros as the title because of the god, yes! There’s so much of Finnick that Orla views as godlike in the original fic, that I wanted to sort of ironically name this one after a god to poke at how this godlike image will be deconstructed by their relationship in the sequel as their love blooms :)

there’s been so much love on memories recently so I just wanted to say a little thank you!!
