There were kittens everywhere. Their meows sounded like a normal cat had inhaled helium. Steve sat cross-legged in the crowd of them. They were crawling all over him. A black cat had even clawed her way to the top of his head.
"Hey-" He took the cat off and put her on the ground. Steve and Rogue were participating to get orphan kittens to homes. They were currently in a large warehouse, where a market was being held to get poor animals to nice owners. Having two members of superhero squads was good for publicity.
@americas-ass anna - marie had a hard time getting any of the little kittens to not claw at her skin or clothes. she continuously called several ' little rascal ' and acted like she was slightly annoyed with them. (though, who could be even slightly mad at such adorable creatures?) after finding one little tabby who would lay in her arms and nuzzle her side, waiting for cuddles, she couldn't help but feel all mushy inside and have the urge to adopt. "you are so precious, aren't you? come look at this one, steve! he's so sweet." / sorry for the late reply!
