I've always believed books are a way to disappear into another life for a while - to step into a darker, more magical world where anything is possible. That's the kind of world I try to create for my readers.

As a Black writer, it's important to me to create stories where characters are complex, powerful, flawed, and unforgettable. Representation matters, but so does telling bold, gripping stories that pull readers in and refuse to let them go.
