hello friends
          
          i hope everyone had a good holiday season. mine didn't go as planned, given that i wasn't able to spend it with my mother and brothers, but it was till special. unfortunately my nephew has been in the hospital since the 27th (?) with pneumonia and i've been doing a lot more babysitting than i usually do while my brother and sister spend time with him in the hospital. 
          
          my family would appreciate any and all prayers during this time, if you're into that sort of thing. please be patient if you're waiting for an update; i'm doing my best :)

hello friends.
          
          i don't know if anyone else struggles this time of year, but this fall's been kicking me to the dirt. i want to offer as much encouragement as i can to those who relate, and ask that anyone who's following The Shadow Children: Coda, please be patient with me as i work hard to grind these chapters out of my subconscious. 
          
          i've just been lacking motivation to write in a certain character's voice because he's so different from me, but i've been trying to write at least 100 words a day in his chapter. i'll admit that part of my struggle also comes from the fact that my mind keeps racing with the storyline for another installment in the saga (which is four books away, embarrassingly enough), so i've been working on that as well. please take care of yourselves, and stay tuned for more!
