@darknovak so basically i had it written that they end up together til halfway through senior year, when jack moves back to lebanon and alex stays and goes to hopkins university in baltimore. they stay together & eventually meet back up in 2009 and alex asks jack to move back to america with him and they move in just after alex graduates university! then alex becomes a physicist and jack teaches guitar at baltimore school for the arta and they eventually get married and have kids (amongst ~drama~ like jack thinking alex is cheating on him and the two of them breaking up for short periods) but yeah, that's the gist! i had a whole long plot planned and i feel bad i never got to publish it all, but at least you know what happened in their future! :-) also p.s. my writing style has changed pretty drastically so imagine this story but actually written well and complete hahah
