2022 update: This is an old account I made when I was in high school. I'd found out about the lizard people conspiracy theory and I thought it was pretty funny to think that some people could actually believe it. Obviously, that didn't age all that well--in recent years, many people, including people very close to me, have found themselves victim to conspiracy theory- and fear- mongering. Even spreading these theories jokingly has proven to have very real negative consequences. In addition, since creating this page, I learned that many conspiracy theories, including  this one, are rooted in antisemitism. This is not something I support or ever supported. Although I know I was young and didn't know better, I am still ashamed to have contributed to this. I will leave this page up for the time being because it is a relic of my past and something my friends still reference--however, I do NOT stand by this, even as a joke.
