...I completely neglected to post any 'update messages' here even though I posted several elsewhere. Oops. Anyway, plans:
          
          1, obviously next RD chapter, goes without saying. 
          
          2, ...since the summer, I've been working on contextualizing Emmeline. Don't know what made me do that but it was always something I intended, but I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted. Until then. ...This brought me down a whole friggin' rabbit hole and now I have her father's backstory too (which came with the territory) and... yeah. I'd like to share that. So, to do that, I'm working on a one shot that'll reveal such things, written in "show, don't tell" way. Don't know when I'll finish that but I've been more motivated to work on that than Sinnamon Rolls itself because I'm proud of what I came up with and, I love my tragedies, and it only makes Milo's life sadder  (but yet, makes his future more heartwarming). 
          
          and 3, this is something I was doing throughout last year but hadn't explained on here at all. I'm working on updating part 1 to bring it up to standards. I was doing this during May/June 2025. I finished up to chapter 14, but then I stopped because I began ironing out Emmeline's family and I figured I should just wait until I'm done because it will be relevant to chapters 15, 16, and 17. (Another reason I was updating them is to fix some details that changed/got fleshed out from when I first wrote the story.)
          
          So yeah that's it for now! I'll try to announce things more consistently on here. I'll announce when I officially finish the part 1 update.

Happy new year, Sinnamon Rolls is going fine, I have a few chapters about done. But I don't want to update again until I have some more done. (It'll be weekly updates once I start posting them!) I'm making this announcement to promote my Deviantart account. I post everything there that I do here, in addition to some art. Whoops, I never posted this here! It's been a while since I posted a new chapter, so here's an update. I'm (pretty much) done with the new chapter. As of writing this I actually finished chapter 9 too. But I'm not posting until I do some planning. I'm going to finish a bunch of new chapters or at least plan them in depth, and then I'll be posting one of those new chapters a week. So there will be a drought but then you'll get updates for several weeks straight. 
          
          The specific reason for this is too wordy to explain on Wattpad because announcements have a short character limit. If you want to know, here is the update I posted on DeviantART.

          (I recommend you watch me there if you have a DA. I post things there that I can't post here, like art, even though I don't really do art these days.) So yeah. I'm doing this "hiatus" (even though behind the scenes I'm working as hard as ever) to take the pressure off me. I'm hoping I'll be ready to post again in a couple months!

I hate to say this, I felt this way for a while. I kept trying to persist but I can't anymore. I'm going to have to stop with the illustrations in Sinnamon Rolls. Drawing the illustrations feels like a chore or obligation, I don't enjoy it. I used to love drawing, but since a few years ago, I totally lost that love. I'm sorry if that upsets anyone (I don't know if it will) but I'm tired of forcing it.
          
          I might occasionally do one, if I get the inspiration. But don't hold your breath.
          
          Anyway on the bright side, new chapter very soon. 

When will Wattpad provide a way to disable mobile notifications for promoted stories or news or whatever. I don't care. I hardly even read anything on here and when I do it's not generic love story about boring skinny men. All I want notifs for is when people comment and give stars to my work.

(sorry if I pinged you guys twice I made a typo) Ended up deleting Ko-fi... apparently it prohibits "kinks that pose risk to participants" (despite obesity not causing health issues in the Sinnamon Rolls 'universe' lol. Yeah take that lore I never stated it anywhere but it's true.) but infuriatingly it lumps weight gain with stuff like asphyxiation, animal abuse, torture, YEAH sure okay  so I'll be looking elsewhere for a tip jar service.

Two things, first I'll be posting chapter 5 in a few days (idk when exactly, I'm super busy this week thank you work for the absolutely insane schedule)  
          
          Second, I've been considering making a Ko-fi in case anyone happens to be interested in tipping me or something. I just hope it doesn't come off like YOU MUST TIP ME AND I WANT TO MAKE MONEY!!! because I don't and never will make this stuff with a need to make money off of it. That would stress me out because I'd feel a need to regularly post things. And sure ideally I'd post on a schedule but I can't handle that. But yeah, idk when I'll open the Ko-fi but it might happen.

Hey, um... my father suddenly passed away and I am... devastated. I love my dad so much and I can't stop crying. I might have to put Sinnamon Rolls on hold. I'm not sure if it will be "on hold" or not, since writing is the way I release stress so maybe if I get into a better headspace after the funeral on Saturday I could start again by next week. But just in case I can't right away... yeah. But SR means a lot to me, and I know my dad wouldn't want me to stop creating. He was also an artist as well, a musician. (And he could draw too actually.) He was a self-taught guitarist, and would write his own music. I like to think his ability to create lives on in me, even if in a different form of art. So especially because of that, SR will come back ASAP even if it does go on hold.

Chapter 18 should be out within a week — it's done, but, I want to give myself a bit more time in case I come up with ideas. This chapter was hell on Earth to write, it was a mixture of pressure (pressure for the backstory's conclusion to be good), stress from retail hell, and the fact I had to, unlike everything before it, write/plain it 100% from scratch because I had only a vague idea of how it would play out. Thankfully it's finally over. And after this, I can at last begin posting things that are a bit more... spicy. Sorry it took such an insanely long time. 
          
          In the meantime, I finally decided on the names of Kari's parents, so I'll be editing the chapters in which they appear so they're called by their actual names and not "Kari's mom/mother/dad/father" all the time.
