i don’t get it when people make fun of people for having a speech impediment??? i was just reading a fic where the oc has a speech impediment and one comment was like “bro, speak normal” like she quite literally CAN’T???
as somebody with a speech impediment on some words & when i speak fast—it can be VERY harmful, it may be an oc but people HAVE impediments—i for one, LOVE when oc’s have speech impediments and honestly? they need to be more vocal in media.

THIS! as someone who grew up with two speech impediments (a stutter and a lisp) and still struggles with them from time to time, it’s really sad seeing people make fun of them/people for having them. i really wished they were shown more instead of looked down on.
