Hi lovely, hope you’re well. Before I get into what i’m gonna say, please don’t take offence, I mean no harm by what i’m gonna say.
I was reading the prologue to your peaky fic and found it was very similar to the prologue in Army Dreamers by gracessecretshelby (a fic that is indeed in your reading list. What i found to be similar was that it follows almost the same sequence in a scene not included in the actual show. For example: the interactions between the three brothers as the mother is giving birth to the younger sister in the next room + the interaction between tommy and the mother after she’s born + the interaction between tommy and their father — all of which are written in the prologue of Army dreamers. i’m not saying they’re exactly the same but very similar and I don’t want to sit here and accuse you of copying incase you haven’t but it’s quite possible you have.
I’m not gonna sit here and attack you, please don’t feel like that’s what i’ve done. I just wanted to bring it to your attention before anyone else does. I’m aware that sometimes when writing a fic after reading a fic, you can write similar stuff by accident but that isn’t always the case unfortunately.
