I used to love the Ruby Redfort books - my favourite was always Catch Your Death (my one was special edition with a bubblegum scented cover) and my favourite character is Blacker. There was actually a period of time when me and my cousin mckenzieshine (author of Under Ice) referred to each other as LB and Blacker!
