          Sorry for being super MIA lately. Life decided to throw a bunch of things at me all at once, and I’ve been trying to survive it without combusting :(

Happy 100K to “What We Never Were”! 
          
          A month ago, this story only existed because of my delusions during a holiday… and now it somehow reached more people than I ever expected. That honestly still feels unreal to me.
          
          Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve given this book and my other works. I’m truly grateful that you gave my stories a chance and stayed with me through them.
          
          Reading has always been my escape from the noise of reality, but I never expected writing would become an escape too. Sometimes when thoughts and feelings become too heavy, creating something out of them makes everything a little easier to carry.
          
          I hope one day you find something that lets you pour your frustrations, thoughts, and emotions into something you genuinely enjoy... whether it’s writing, art, music, or anything else that makes you feel alive again. It really helps more than people realize.
          
          Thank you again, folks. I know I talk too much sometimes  but I genuinely appreciate every single one of you. Hopefully in some way, these stories comfort or inspire you the same way your words inspire me too.

          After emotionally suffering from too much angst, I decided maybe it’s time to heal a little… or at least pretend to lol.
          
          Most of the JENLISA fanfics I’ve been reading are still ongoing since the dinosaurs existed, so I said fine, I’ll cook my own story instead and let my delusions come to life.
          
          This one’s a bit different from what I usually write, so please bear with me and give “Escapism” lots of love. 
          
          I hope you’ll join me in another chaotic little journey.

          Thank you for staying with until the very end and for giving this story so much love.
          
          And I guess if there’s one thing this book constantly tried to show, it’s that you never truly know what someone is silently carrying. 
          
          Sometimes people are surviving things quietly while still trying to smile through it all. 
          
          So please, always choose kindness. 
          
          Even the smallest kindness can change a person’s life more than you realize.

What’s up folks,
          
          New chapters are up now! Stayed up revising drafts that have been rotting in my laptop for a week.
          
          Also finally got a new phone after my old one gave up during vacation, so editing and proofreading is way easier now hahaha
          
          And yes… Chapters 36–37 will be the last of Jennie’s POV during those years, which means we are slowly approaching the part of the story that may or may not emotionally ruin everybody involved.
          
          There are only a few chapters left that I’m still working on, so stay tuned
