          So… we’re almost at the middle of the year already.
          
          First of all, what the hell? 
          
          Second of all, this year has been kicking my ass in ways I didn’t even know were possible. The plot twists have been plotting, and unfortunately, I am not the author of real life.
          
          How are you guys doing? Still surviving? Still sane? Lol
          
          I’ve missed you all so much.
          
          My brain has been aggressively collecting new story ideas like Pokémon cards, but before I abandon all responsibilities and start another project, let’s finish Escapism first. 
          
          And honestly, with how exhausting the real world has been lately, I hope you’ll still join me for a little fiction and escapism.
          
          Thank you for continuing to read my work, for your patience, your support, and for still being here.

Happy 100K to “What We Never Were”! 
          
          A month ago, this story only existed because of my delusions during a holiday… and now it somehow reached more people than I ever expected. That honestly still feels unreal to me.
          
          Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve given this book and my other works. I’m truly grateful that you gave my stories a chance and stayed with me through them.
          
          Reading has always been my escape from the noise of reality, but I never expected writing would become an escape too. Sometimes when thoughts and feelings become too heavy, creating something out of them makes everything a little easier to carry.
          
          I hope one day you find something that lets you pour your frustrations, thoughts, and emotions into something you genuinely enjoy... whether it’s writing, art, music, or anything else that makes you feel alive again. It really helps more than people realize.
          
          Thank you again, folks. I know I talk too much sometimes  but I genuinely appreciate every single one of you. Hopefully in some way, these stories comfort or inspire you the same way your words inspire me too.

          After emotionally suffering from too much angst, I decided maybe it’s time to heal a little… or at least pretend to lol.
          
          Most of the JENLISA fanfics I’ve been reading are still ongoing since the dinosaurs existed, so I said fine, I’ll cook my own story instead and let my delusions come to life.
          
          This one’s a bit different from what I usually write, so please bear with me and give “Escapism” lots of love.
