I'm a romantic at heart.

About YGO fandom - I got acquainted to this world around 2012, thanks to my own aibou, when said person was watching DM. I never paid attention to the show until the DMG appeared for the first time. You can say she put a spell on me....lol....but the thing that got to me next was Yugi's eyes...I only started feeling something for Yami by the end of The KC Championship, namely on the duel versus Leon....but then it was already too late...quickly Memory World was nearby and so the Cerimonial Duel. Being a former Revolutionshipper and Peachshipper, seeing Atem leave and the show ending was hard. And the constant nods that GX did to DM did not help much. I wished by 2012 that Atem could have been given the option to not go to the afterlife and stay with Tea, or at least Yugi could have had a chance with her, thanks to some beliefs I had then. But four years later my shipping has gone elsewhere, namely to the Puzzled type. Soulmates should not be separated, no matter their gender. At least in fiction.
Funny though I always enjoyed Yami's and Yugi's private conversations or even when one only showed up in spirit form. But I felt that the whole story wasn't being properly shown or told in the dub, specially after seeing some moments in the famous episodes 52, 158 and 184. To paraphrase Yami, it's a whole new "game", when watching properly Japanese subs...I feel my mind blown with the philosophy within the story told.
Since I have the ability to understand 5 idioms, it is likely that you will find works in my reading lists that are not in English. However, I can only write well in English and in Portuguese. I can write a sentence or two in other languages, but with some spelling or grammar errors. I haven't written anything online, but I have already a few ideas for a pair of stories.
If I had to choose the best voice actors for doing Yami in the dubs, I would choose Dan Green in the first place, followed closely by the two Portuguese ones.
