I must say, Yusuke's stick-eating technique is absolutely excellent. He begins with each stick with his hand partially in the container. He gently grabs the stick with his fingertips, which minimizes risk of breaking it prematurely. Next, in one smooth motion, he both brings his hand close to his mouth and turns it so the stick is directly in front of his mouth. He definitely has the hand of a painter. Once the stick has been prepared for eating, he moves his hand towards his mouth, pushing the stick deeper into his mouth, while taking quick and rapid bites. This, of course, breaks the stick apart in his mouth. Assuming Yusuke has an average amount of saliva in his mouth, it mixes perfectly with the stick bits to make them just soft enough to crush with his teeth without cracking them and spreading them around his mouth. Also, please look back at how he bites the stick and how his hand moves. That's right. His hand never slows down until the stick is short. His biting truly is on another level. At this point, Yusuke stops his hand before it touches his lips, which lowers the chances of spreading germs. It then seems that what is left of the current stick disappears from existence. However... I disagree! I believe that Yusuke sucks the stick into his mouth so fast that it is impossible for us to even see it move. This must take incredible lip muscles and inhaling skills. As you can see in the video, he does not chew again after this. That is, until the next stick enters his mouth. I know it's hard to believe, but Yusuke chews one stick while biting another into pieces- something only a legend could do. Next up is swallowing. To be honest, I'm not sure when in the cycle this is because I never see it. I've thought of three reasons why this could be. One- he swallows very smoothly.
