I have now finished Pursuing the Remnant—the first installment of the Scholar Series.

The remaining chapters will be published depending on the schedule I set for myself. But now that the story is finished, I just want to thank everyone who has supported it since I first started writing.

The feedback I’ve been getting is overwhelming, but it pushed me even more to put my story out there. Without the support you’ve given me and the story, I wouldn’t have reached this far, knowing how easily I give up on things. The story is currently unedited, but I’ll start editing it next year.

I started writing PTR on June 20, 2025, and now it’s December 13, 2025—almost six months with it! It isn’t an easy novel to work on, and I am aware that there are lapses, but again, I will work on them once I have released the chapters up to Supernova.

Thank you to all the strangers who connected with Kahel and Therese. Thank you for crying with them, for loving them, and for caring about them. Thank you for connecting with them and sharing your thoughts. As we enter another story, I hope you can carry the lessons PTR has brought you.

To Kahel—thank you so much for recurring in my dreams.

To Therese—thank you for being brave and for using your voice.

And until then, when the quill starts writing again, I hope you’re still there.

          	always,
          	rayu

hafi 8k reads, ptr!

this whole thing is still new to me. i am still new to writing, and i tend to pour every feeling into my work to the point that the narrative becomes heavier than expected—i am still working on it but hyper aware at the same time. hence, when i published ptr on wattpad, i didn’t expect that some people would still want to carry the heaviness of it—some people who actually cared about the characters, loved them, remembered them, and connected with them.

i still have a lot to learn, given that i am new to writing, and i haven’t yet attained great talent for it. but sometimes the heart just beats and burns through whole pages of the story, telling its own tale—whether it leaves a smolder or is completely incinerated is the least of my concern.

but the real concern here: thank you for sitting with the heaviness of ptr. i hope it has been worth it for you as we approach its end. thank you so much, strangers, for seeing my words and my world. thank you for consuming my words and bearing the weight of them.

sana ang kulay kahel ay manatili sa inyong puso habang isinasara ang huling pahina ng ptr.

          always,
          rayu.
