I am sixteen now.

          Suicide is a serious matter that some of us don’t take seriously and we need to focus on. First, I must start off by saying that my windows are wide open for you to climb on it and tell me about your suicidal thoughts because I will help you, no matter the day of the week or minute of the hour or hour of the day. A lot of people like to ignore the sadness that encloses itself on them because it feels right. I find it hard to come out and say this but I was called a deformed alien for three years and I lost my best friend to suicide. My ex boyfriend is currently going through pain that I am helping him with because I don’t like that type of pain and there’s so much sadness that takes place when the person you love is falling apart in front of your eyes. Suicide is not a joke and it needs to stop being treated like one because people die, people die because of comments you make when you assume that nobody is listening. The idea that people slit their wrists and hang themselves is absolutely fucking saddening because it happens and people need to open their goddamn eyes and realize that they’re so many people around us falling apart and none of us ask about it. I saw a tiktok earlier with five hundred thousand likes and the conclusion was that school kills people and this kid was making a joke. It might’ve been a joke but a small joke goes a long way. 
          Help me send some love towards everybody that cuts and make them know that you are there for them because so many people who go through this pain believes everybody has left but not everybody has left because you are still there to help them. I will go a mile and say this right now: if you are suicidal, text me and I will let you know that you matter. I will be by your side until you feel better.
