Guys idk how many of  you are south Indians but I have thing to ask. Can you guys tell me the rituals of mangalsutra Tieing ceremony? I have heard that when the groom ties the mangalsutra each knot he ties denotes some promise. If anyone could elaborate that for me would really helpful.  And if the groom cannot afford a gold mangalsutra what should be tied ? Coming from a Bengali household I have least ideas about south indian weddings and as I was writing KGF I wanted it to be authentic and Google aunty doesn't tell a lot. And if anyone could explain me the rituals for the bride and groom they perform before getting married.
