Ryan Evans (she/her/hers) is a twenty-something author who grew up rooting for the little guys in twisted districts, secret societies, and dystopian worlds. Thanks to this, she's developed a deep appreciation for the fantasy that is idealism and all of the ways that it could (and oftentimes does) interact with contemporary reality-for better or for worse.

When she's not writing about corrupt leaders and taking them down, Ryan is more likely than not preparing to take on the personal antagonists of her life known as never-ending special education paperwork piles. 

She's currently interning as a school psychologist at a public school district in the Chicagoland area and hopes to continue to work and live in Chicago as she completes her studies as a first-generation college and graduate school graduate.
