Today marks the end of a legacy as Mr. Elie Wiesel (renowned author, Nobel Peace Prize achiever, humanitarian, and well known Holocaust survivor) has passed away at the age of 87. Mr. Wiesel is best known for his novels based off of his accounts in a German Concentration Camp; these novels include "Night", "Dawn", and "Day". I highly recommend reading these novels (not just because more people need to know their WWII information (though it is true)) because they are truly riveting and page turners.
Mr. Wiesel taught us that we need to find out voice, and where we stand on important issues. To quote Mr. Wiesel, "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." With that, rest in POWER Elie Wiesel.
