Hello, everyone! How are you all doing?

I’m using this platform to share something very important. This isn't related to my fanfiction, but it’s something that matters far more.

As some of you may know, I live in Palawan, Philippines—a breathtaking island, often ranked among the most beautiful in the world. Sadly, for the past few days, we have been experiencing relentless heavy rains, causing severe flooding. In many areas, the floodwaters have risen higher than an average person. Countless families have been evacuated, lives have been lost, and homes, infrastructure, animals, and crops have been destroyed. It’s heartbreaking, especially because we never thought something like this could happen here. Palawan has always been relatively safe from these kinds of disasters, yet now, we are facing devastation.

Fortunately, my family and I are safe. Yes, our house experienced mild flooding, but in the end, we’re grateful to be okay—and that’s what truly matters.

This is a harsh reminder that climate change is real. What makes it even more infuriating is that, despite everything, some politicians are still pushing for more mining in our region, further endangering our environment.

Nature is trying to tell us something, and we need to listen. No matter where you are in the world, many of you have likely experienced similar climate-related disasters. It’s time for us to take a stand—to protect our environment, to use our voices, and to demand real action.

Let’s not wait until it’s too late.
