It probably wasn’t her brightest idea in the world, but Stephanie needed to get rid of the stress and tension somehow. She had been in the training room for hours doing everything from sit-ups, push-ups and currently punching away at a bag. Panting hard as one last hit sent the bag flying off its hinges like the others. Her hands hurting and burning a bit from all the punching. She knew Bucky was going to grow concerned, but her stubbornness was what made her not openly talk about her various insecurities and what was stressing her out. Mostly it was from being a leader to the Avengers, then the last mission, where she had failed to save a person’s life. Finally sitting down on the ground as she tried to catch her breath for once.
“I know that, but it gave me some sense of relief, ya know?” Steph said as she hummed softly, tensing up again from having it poured on the other knuckle. A part of her knew he would also overwork himself, cause she would partly wake up in bed with the brunette not next to her holding her close. She never of course spoke up about it, least not yet about it to him. He was probably just as stubborn as her. “Also, thanks... for patching me up.” She spoke up carefully leaning forward pressing her lips to his cheek for a brief moment with a tiny smile on her lips.
@OneLastShield bucky chuckled and grabbed hold of her other hand. “yea well,” he said and slowly poured it over those knuckles, “maybe if you didn’t keep going until your skin broke, you wouldn’t have to worry about this,” he pointed out, knowing he was being quite hypocritical. bucky trained himself late into the night and beyond as well. far beyond just bloody knuckles and a sweated out shirt. he does it mostly in secret or when he’s alone, not wanting someone to treat him like he’s treating stephanie. “alright, just gotta put the bandages on,” he mumbled, mostly to himself than to the blonde.
“True, but you going over there gave me even more reason to go too.” She said with a small smile on her lips. Nodding before biting her lip hard from the peroxide bubbling and fuzzing. Tensing up from the feeling of it until it began to dull eventually, her shoulders lowering and relaxing once again. “And that is the one thing I hate about cleaning wounds.” She mumbled referring to having the wounds being disinfected, even with a much higher healing factor she could still be prone to infection with her wounds.

admittedly , getting her ass kicked wasn't something the ravenette had wished for when she asked to spar with bucky — though , what was to be expected ? he was literally a foot taller , significantly stronger and had a lot more experience with combat in real life situations . and svetka ? she was / very / petite for her age , only knowing most fights from forced ones within the academy . ❛❛ — ow . ❜❜ a string of loud russian curse words escaped her lungs , balling her hands into fists in exasperation . this was the fifth time in a row she'd lost . fifth .
@fallenregimes * // heh , you’re alright . i take just as long )): bucky wasn’t too sure about sparring with svetlana honestly. he was worried he would end up severely hurting her, but she had insisted for hours that they took a go at it. well, she definitely tried her best. he held back at first but once she started taunting, he let her know who was boss. it was amusing really once he started just messing around, just making the poor girl trip over herself or get her body in the wrong stance. though he was sure this last one was the final spar for a while. “alright lanny,” he grumbled, holding out a hand to the girl on the ground, “i think we’ve sparred quite enough for now,” he finished with a small chuckle.
