Realizing that the mother who raised you is narcissistic, judgmental, and fake is truly an eye-opener. It’s especially difficult when you’re dealing with a parent who never believes they’re wrong simply because they’re the parent.
They feel entitled to judge, criticize, and make decisions without ever taking accountability for their own actions. No matter what happens, they’ll find a way to justify themselves or make you feel like you’re the problem.
And honestly, that’s one of the hardest people to deal with because they’ll never acknowledge when they’re wrong. Definitely incorporating my mother into one of my new stories and let’s just say, it’s all bad.
