Have you ever read "Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda"? I originally read it because I wanted to watch "Love, Simon" but I thought it would be better to read the book first. It is now my favorite book.

Yes! I love that book, and it has a really special place in my heart. I grew up with pretty religious and close minded parents (granted they’re trying to be more open-minded), so reading the book and watching the movie was really the first exposure I had to something that said it was okay to be gay. So seeing that around the time I was questioning my sexuality was really good for me and for that it will always have a special meaning for me. Sorry, probably overshared there, but yes I read it and I love it.
