I was trying to figure out how I came upon Movie Star Memories and the moment I saw Second Lanark was by toy I was like “why did I wait so long to read it!” I just finished and Wow. It’s so deep. Well thought. The characters are flawed and loveable and above all human. I cannot get over it. It made me think so deep into life and the people around me. It made me think of myself and how comfortable I got with substances that I knew were dangerous as a young teen in a way I never had before. It was incredible to digest and dissect and relate. Simply Marvelous.
