Hi, everyone! After a really, REALLY long hiatus, I've finally started writing again. The past several months (almost a year, now that I look back on that last March update) have been spent growing as a person and healing from several difficult things that happened in my personal life at the start of the year. After a lot of major life changes, I think I'm finally ready to come back to the world of Wattpad.
I'll level with you guys: I shut down. Not just about writing. For a while, it was everything. I spent the better part of the spring, summer, and now fall on my personal health and on healing. For a while, it seemed like things were hopeless and unresolvable, and I felt that they were too difficult to heal from. But now, almost eight months later, here I am. To symbolize the transition I've come through and partially to help myself turn over a new leaf, I've decided to rebrand myself in all aspect of my life, my writing persona being one. You'll notice that my username has changed, and that won't be the only thing!
I decided to take the plunge again this year and participate in NaNoWriMo. Nothing was worth passing up participating in NaNo for the sixth time. For all of you who are reading this (if any of you are), please feel free to add me as a buddy. My username is sagertooth.tiger, and I'd love to connect with my fellow Wattpadders who are also participating. Once I get a bit further ahead on it, I plan on posting my draft here. It's the best way to get feedback and advice!
As far as my work here goes, I've spent these past several months working on Watchdog in spurts, as well as writing on some side projects. I plan on returning to my regular updates of Watchdog starting the first Wednesday of December. I'm ready for #WatchdogWednesdays and to finally feel like myself again.
