Hello saint! I'm so glad you're back to writing again and I hope 2025 is being kind to you.
I have a question to ask; how do you plan your books, or how do you hold on to story ideas? I've been trying to carry on my projects but I just can't seem to do it... Whatever idea I have in my head just disappears or I just lose interest in it, resulting in many unfinished projects. Do you have any tips for this? Thanks.
@saintc This explains a lot honestly. I usually force myself to suddenly build characters and know everything about them, all at once. This approach you've mentioned sounds better, thank you! I'll try it out.
Hi Sanny. I usually work on a three act structure that all have about 10 parts each (so about thirty chapters—you will notice a lot of my books are 30 chapters) I start by writing the story in one sentence bullet points that I later expand into full chapters. This way I. Have the ability to skip around and write some later chapters before I’ve written the ones before them. This helps me interact with the character and learn more about them in a way that can help to introduce and form their dynamic in the earlier chapters.
