thank you so much for 400 followers and 20k reads on pc, that is bizarre and i’m gonna cry. i promise chapter 45 will be up this week — it’s sitting at an insane 13k words and i still have an entire scene to go. considering splitting it in two and posting it as a double-update but we’ll see… if you’re wondering what’s taking so long that is the reason :’’)

a sappy, belated happy new year and a huge thank you for being so supportive over the course of 2025 :’) it was a strange one to start as i came to terms with the loss of my old account, but through the rewriting process and everyone i met here i learned so much and am so so grateful. seven years to the very first draft i’m finally closing out my journey with paper confines, which is as surreal as it is symbolic (i carry amoret with me everywhere), and in that time i’ve been met with more kindness than i know how to process. i’ll save my big speech for the epilogue but i wish you all a great 2026, thank you very much for sticking around <3

genuine question if i offered free beta reading (preferably for original works and w/ back-and-forth interaction and notes specific to insight you're looking for) to start building a portfolio as a future editor, would anyone be interested? i'm looking into courses but trying to get out of my horrible job cycle and move toward something i actually enjoy. urgently. it would be nice to build some references :(
