Why is writing so unenjoyable now?? I read my work when I was 14, though bad, the dialogue was hilarious and fun. I struggle with dialogue so bad what the heck

I hate how insecure I feel about my writing, like some of it I feel is beautiful and most of it I feel like is mediocre and that’s so frustrating cause sometimes I’ll enjoy what I’m writing but once I read through it I’m look oh ew. I don’t want to write feeling pressured or like theres expectations, i genuinely enjoy writing when it feels like I’m just trying to feed my little fan girl brain. 

And if I said my Rick grimes story is my favorite that I’ve ever written
