Something that's really fascinating to me is the similarities and differences between Peter and Judas. Because we don't often think about it this way, but—essentially, BOTH of them betrayed Jesus. Judas turned Jesus over to the Jewish leaders in exchange for money; Peter denied knowing Jesus even after explicitly saying that he wouldn't do that. Both men messed up in pretty dang big ways. 
          
          But although they are similar, they differ in a major way: how they responded after their mistakes. We know that Judas was overcome with guilt for his actions and would kill himself shortly after receiving his money. Peter was also overcome with guilt for what he'd done—but when Peter was out fishing and saw the resurrected Jesus onshore, Peter couldn't even wait to bring the boat in. He literally /jumped overboard/ and swam to Jesus. 
          
          Judas ran away from Jesus after a sin. Peter ran towards Him. 
          
          Jesus forgave Peter, and Peter would go on to become one of the biggest leaders in the early church. And I am convinced that had Judas run /to/ Jesus instead of away, Jesus would've forgiven Judas as well. 
          
          So, friends, today I want to encourage you to run toward Jesus and not away from Him! There is no sin too great for Him to forgive, nothing that is too much for Him to cover with His righteousness. With Him, you don't have to pretend to have it all together; He knows you inside and out, knows every flaw and imperfection already—and He loves you. He loves you so so indescribably much, and He longs for you to run to Him and not away. 
          
          I pray that you will find rest in His arms! If anyone has questions about anything I've said, please feel free to ask! I'm far from a theologian, but I will do my best to answer :D 
          
          

Hey everyone! So—there isn't really an easy way to say this, but I wanted to let you all know—in about a month, I will be leaving Wattpad and this account will become inactive.
          
          It isn't because of anything that happened here—I have truly loved my past few years on this app, and I've made a lot of wonderful friends. Everyone has always been so supportive, and I'm really grateful for my time here <3
          
          However, recently I've felt God telling me that it is time to take a step into a new phase of my life, including going offline. This wasn't a decision I've made lightly; I've prayed about it a lot, and though I'm sad to see this time come to an end I'm excited to see what God has in store for the future! I may not know what it will hold, but I know that God does, so I will trust in His plan that is infinitely greater than any of my own.
          
          Probably my one regret from my time on this app is that I never did much to share my faith. I don't know how many of you are Christians or how many of you aren't, but either way I just want to tell you: you are so so SO incredibly loved by God, the creator of the whole entire universe—and the creator of you! You are beautifully and wonderfully made in God's own image, and He loves you so much that He sent His son to die for all the sins we've ever committed. In God alone you can rest in the knowledge that you are loved, saved, freed, and forgiven from anything you've ever done—I promise, there is no sin too big for God to forgive. His love is unconditional and unfailing, and it is my prayer that each and every one of you will come to know Him. 
          
          Thanks everyone for being such a wonderful community for the past few years! I love you all and wish you the best <3 You are all incredible; never forget your worth in God's eyes.

me after finishing the DuckTales finale: oh my gosh there's so much set-up for a Darkwing Duck reboot/spin-off! There's so much unresolved with the Drake and Gosalyn plot—not to mention Steelbeak, a Darkwing villain, conveniently escaped at the end. Let's Get Dangerous was an hour long and definitely felt like a backdoor pilot, they've gotta announce something about it any day now!
          
          me a couple months after the finale: okay...okay, we haven't heard anything about a reboot yet, but that's okay! sometimes no news is good news! you'd think they'd want to say something about it around the time of the finale while everyone is still hyped.....but y'know, maybe they're playing their cards close to their chest. It could still happen!
          
          me now, seven months after the finale with absolutely no news about a Darkwing reboot connected to DuckTales 2017: *slowly and sadly applies clown makeup*
