This might sound like overacting or something, but I'mma say it anyway.
I have this favorite author, and she's really my inspiration when it comes to writing. I've read almost all of her stories published here on Wattpad, except for the paid ones. Since they’re paid, I didn’t really pay much attention to them. Can't afford it.
I’ve been writing for three years now, and I still haven’t finished a single novel. I’ve tried so many times, but I could never come up with a complete plot. Now that I finally have one, I planned everything, and I already started writing. Ngayon pa talaga, kung kailan nasa 'this is it' moment na ako?
The author I’m talking about is famous and has published stories with millions of reads. Then I just found out, as in right now, that my characters have the same names as hers. From one of her paid stories I haven’t even read. I don’t know anything about it, so I am really shocked. Same main leads.
Is this what they call destiny? Chr.
I want to change the names, but I can’t. They really fit my characters, and I have personal reasons for choosing them. I don’t want to change everything, but I’m scared people will assume I just copied her...
Wala lang, just sharing this. I know I shouldn’t let it affect me because I know deep down I didn’t copy anything. And besides, ang dami namang magkakapangalan sa Wattpad.
Shinare ko lang talaga kasi parang ang magical. Hala, oa. Parang mas pinatunayan nitong ganap na itong 'this is really is it!' Makakatapos na talaga ako ng novel.
Btw, nag-stay ako sa names. Papalitan ko lang yun if ever gusto ko talaga at hindi lang dahil sa may kapangalan sila.
