As you can imagine, the final fall out between them has to be a line that, once crossed, Noel is not willing to ever forgive. Will that mean he won't forgive at all? We'll see. He's patched things up with Liam in real life, why wouldn't he with his fictional sister? But that line crossed? It's something huge, something that most people (me included tbh) would perceive as unforgivable. Anais is involved, that's all I'm saying and Claire knows that she has fucked this up beyond the scale. She has never forgiven herself for it. Not are yet if I include the whole version, but it will surely be remembered by Noel. Also, we'll see the effect the interviews have had on him, because Claire's not the only one with crumbling walls around her heart and he is really scared he might lose his shit soon.

@antiSocial13Forever I have this theory that the first blow in that wall Liam and Noel have built between them after the Oasis split was the Supersonic documentary 2014. Because it must have reminded them what a great thing it all was and they repeatedly say in the documentary how special (and difficult) it was to experience that with your own brother. And it brought Oasis back into the consciousness and had all these young people discover the band and that, I think, over the years was one of the reasons why the grudge between them eroded. It might have taken them 10 years after that because stubborn idiots they are, but I mean it all turned out well. And in this story, really want these interviews to start for all of them as another PR exercise and then, all three of them are swept away by how by talking about it, it brings back all those memories, good and bad. And pinches that spot again and again that only ever belonged to the siblings. If I manage to get back to the Damon/Claire story after the Noel chapter it's really gonna show how it affects their relationship. Because at one point before in the story Damon realizes that their whole life is built on the absence of her brothers in it and he is scared shitless what will happen if they step back into their life. Because they never worked out in the past with Noel and/or Liam in the picture. This will probably be the main conflict between Claire and Damon in the 2014 timeline for the rest if the story.

Can’t wait to see what you have in store for this story. Fingers crossed we all get to see it soon! It’s interesting the take of what will be perceived as unforgivable. At the end of the day there all siblings, and it will be significant to find out how they’ll repair things over time. Love how the interviews have been making them all reflect on their lives as well.

Little reflection on the Noel chapter I'm writing now. I've been writing and failing at different versions of this chapter for almost two years now. This time I'm closer to actually finishing it than before (Still a far way off though, he's a slippy little fucker that Noel) because the angle is different. There is a lot of Noel and Dylan scenes, but there is a lot, a LOT of flashbacks to the Gallaghers childhood, teenage years and early adulthood. I realized that that's what I'm best at, rooting the characters in their past and showing what shaped them. Also, it's the chance to touch on a lot of subjects that have either been subtly hinted at (like Claire's difficulties with food and the hints that she might have had an eating disorder when she was younger), but also set Noels POV in this really complex and complicated net of loyalty, disapointment, regret and still anger and hurt. To show that he misses his sister so much this absence has become integral to him. That her being not there might not have prevented the band from splitting, but it might have prevented the brothers from having a fall out (thank God those dark times are over guys and they like each other again lol). Also, I just love writing about their Burnage days. Also, great chance to show this very intense relationship between brother and sister, who have been in the trenches together (there will be a few war metaphors throughout the chapter, I think that fits Noels POV very well), but that this intensity is as much rooted in their love for each other as it is in being fellow survivors of an abusive father. Their trauma bond is so strong that it has always been their lifeline and the rope around their neck. Don't know, just a few thoughts. I'm just so excited to write this and it feels very good this time.

I kind of want to post a snippet from the Noel POV which is finally taking serious shape (reunion buzz). But how can I do that without posting it as part of my story? Anyone any ideas?

@sallycinnamonsworld I second the tumblr post, you can share the link here too

@sallycinnamonsworld oooh exciting stuff happening! if you have a tumblr account or something similar, that's the perfect place for it, or maybe you could even just post it as a tender chapter and then take it down when you're ready to publish the completed chapter? hope you're doing well! x

I have actually started writing the Noel chapter, wtf? Miracles do indeed happen. Who would've thought to see the day. Bands should reunite more often, works wonders for the productivity.

carrythezero99

Definitely. Mad excited for more Tender and the reunion
