          but with all the reasons aside, i still got everyone’s notifs, whether it was comments or messages. and i read every single one of them (or i tried to) and i’m genuinely thankful for everyone. i know i’ve said my thanks multiple times, but when i started out silk touch, it was a silly project between my cousin and i. i wasn’t a big of a writer back then (i liked reading then more) but ever since silk touch blew up, i’ve become more passionate with writing.
          in case anyone is wondering if i still write, i do! i write in google docs now, and i have a wholeeee bunch of unfinished stories and ideas (hmmm… seems like quite the theme with nycto).
          if anybody wants, i can share some of my google docs stories (they’re more contemporary romance now instead of fanfic or self inserts)
          i understand the whole purpose of this acc was for dsmp fanfic, but i’ve moved on completely from them. it’s bittersweet, but there were a lot of controversies surrounding them, and it was getting tiring (ofc in my opinion) to be associated with that negativity. 
          so… now i’m a groupchat enjoyer LMAO 
          (isaac and yumi are my favs)
          but anyways, i just wanted to come back and say hi again. idk if i’ll be as active as before, but i’ll try and respond to any comments or messages i receive. thank you all sm again, i love and appreciate your support <3

          this is going to be a BIT long, so strap in .
          yes, it’s been a year and a half since my last post. a lot has happened (imo) since then, so i’ll quickly elaborate some more over why i disappeared. 
          • the constant updating and writing was a lot on me, especially since i could really only write for an extended period of time on the weekends, which pushed away some of my hobbies and friends.
          • i saw my book being recommended on a dsmp tiktok which, i will say, im very thankful someone thought my book was good enough to go on a fan fiction recommendation video. however, now that some time has passed since that video (it was around 2021 when i saw it, same year silk touch was released) i realized that i didn’t want people to see my books with no explanation as to what it is. especially since i had a bunchhh of grammatical errors to my story, and the plot was messy to me. i wanted to have a good first impression, yk? or maybe i’m not making sense, and i just sound like i’m overthinking things haha.
          • my family was finding out about my writing hobby, and at one point, my UNCLE asked me to send an excerpt for him to read safe to say, i wrote something completely new and sent that instead

hey guys, i’m gonna be honest here; i’ve lost all motivation to write and honestly do anything. i know i have an unfinished story, and i’ll try my best to finish that, but i can’t make any promises. recently, i guess wattpad has seem boring to me and i’ve stopped reading stories from here. this isn’t really a goodbye message, just more of an update on why i’ve been absent for so long. hope you guys are doing well, and don’t forget that i’m grateful and thankful for everyone who has decided to give my books/account a try <3
