STORY DESCRIPTION
She swore to hate him–
He swore to own her–
"Marriage doesn't work like this," she hissed, breath shaky.
His lips curved into a dark smile. "In my world, marriage works however I want. Either you marry me, or I'll ruin you first-and still make you mine."
Her palm cracked across his cheek. "Shut up, bastard!"
He stilled, slowly touching the sting she left behind. His eyes burned with something deadly-and hungry.
"Language women. You shouldn't have done that," he whispered. "Now you'll never get rid of me."
She stumbled back to the window. "I'll jump! I'll end it here!"
"Jump," he said smoothly, almost amused. "I'll catch you in the air. I'll follow you to hell if I have to. Baby, you don't escape me—not in this life, not the next."
Her body trembled on the ledge. "I'm serious."
He moved behind her, wrapping her waist in a bruising grip. His breath scorched her skin as his mouth pressed against her neck. His lips dragged along her throat, possessive and cruel,
"So am I. If you jump, I'll fall with you. Heaven, hell, doesn't matter—you'll still be mine before we hit the ground."
