I have published a small short story today as a Devakshi fanfiction. Do try it. It's a complete story with fifteen chapters. Epilogue alone I'll post within a few hrs atleast before tomorrow :-)

PANDEMIC
          
          I sit beside my window,
          Looking at the clouds turn dark.
          I would be happy if it was going to rain,
          I'm sad because it didn't.
          
          The roads are empty,
          My wallet is weak.

          My neighbour is sick.

          My slippers are scared to walk out.

          My vehicle isn't taking me out.
          
          While washing my hands today, 
          I feel God telling me,

          I really heard him say that!
          
          While wearing my mask today, 
          I feel friends telling me,
          Wish you didn't wear a happy mask;
          And had courage to face your fears.
          
          While wearing my gloves today, 
          I feel fairy telling me, 
          Wish you shook hands with your enemy;
          And became friendly with everyone.
          
          I'm helpless today, I'm clueless today
          I wish it really rains tonight,
          So, I could get a second chance 
          To wash and cleanse my soul.
