I honestly have no idea where I'm going with my, "Crimson Blossoms," story so I'm just winging everything.

You learn something every day: apparently “pharaoh” translates literally to “great house,” and it was originally used in reference to Thutmose III in the way that we’ll say “the White House” in reference to the president and his administration. For example, it’s not “Pharaoh Bob ordered…” it’s “the Pharaoh ordered…,” in the same way we would say “the White House opposed…”

Ugh, I really wish I could draw so I could make webtoons out of my stories. I have all this imagery that I can't write out well enough...

Fun Fact: I love to take real-life inspiration for my characters. For example, Akitse Kasun, the heroine of my story, "The Reincarnate Queen," has her inspiration from Queen Himiko of Yamatai, who was a badass Shamaness-Queen and was crowned high priestess and supreme ruler of her kingdom.

She holds the distinct honour of being the first badass chick in Japanese history. In fact, she's the first named and confirmed (male or female) figure in Japanese history, period.
