Hello! My name is Sam and I'm currently studying English Language and Literature - Creative Writing at the University of Maryland, College Park. I realized my passion for writing stories at the start of my junior year of college when I enrolled (accidently) in the introductory creative writing workshop. From there, we were given prompts and scenarios from which we could birth stories from and I loved every minute of it. Since then I have been working on 2 novels and hope to publish them both some day, in addition to my entire portfolio as a book of short stories and/or poetry. I really like to discuss harder, more sensitive topics in my work such as racism, mental illnesses, and issues in the African American community.
