          I just have one more chapter to go before my posted chapters will meet the word count requirement for Round 2, and I've almost finished writing the 9th chapter offline. It definitely looks like I'm going to  have to be really careful not to accidentally go over the 40K word limit for the completed story, but if everything goes well, I'm hoping to have a week or two at the end of April where I can focus on polishing everything a bit more and trimming extra words if I have to.
          
          How are your entries coming along?

In today's chapter of Easy Peasy, Extra Cheesy, Colby's once again got Brie's goat, and I have to admit the dishes everyone makes have me feeling pretty sheepish. I'm not usually the biggest fan of cheeses that are made with anything other than cow milk, so this chapter was as much of a challenge for me as it was for the contestants!

          Fun fact, there's apparently a sheep's milk gouda called Ewephoria, and I've been internally kicking myself for not thinking of that pun myself all night XD

Chapter 3 of Easy Peasy, Extra Cheesy is up, and Brie is doing her best not to give edam about Colby being his usual cocky self. As all the contestants take a breather after the competition's first round, it's only a matter of time before someone stirs the pot...

I've decided to take a shot at entering the Open Novella Contest (ONC) this year! I haven't written anything contemporary since Sirens and Sprinkles all the way back in 2020, so I thought it'd be fun to experiment with doing a full-fledged romcom.
