out of the shadows —- and with much reluctance, emerged the vampire. he did as she told him to, not one for too often a dramatic performance.. he was a blood-sucker not a man of the theater. the very nature of a vampire to louis was something grisly, and not something of grace.
fingers were pulled from suit-pocket, bringing a cigarette and lighter to closed lips. lighting the cigarette with ease, it was routine. “so here i am, nothing special to call out for.”
louis was very finely dressed, if it wasn’t for the flicks of blood splattered over his face and collar he’d look like anyone else walking the streets —- like any other busy mortal with a life full of errands to complete.. people to see.
