Sanjoy Dutt, an engineer, and a linguist is passionate about traveling to historical places and the Himalayas. 


The fourth born to a middle-class Bengali family from the city of joy in India. He lost his father at a very early age and exposed to difficulty and the struggles in life from childhood. A strong believer challenges in life teaches and makes you smarter. He has lived and worked in various places in India and Nepal and later moved to the USA.

He and his wife enjoy exploring various areas of USA and occasionally struggle with the pots and pans in the kitchen. Sometimes the experiments turn out surprisingly delicious!

Sanjoy has written travelogues and short stories for various journals in Bengali and English like The Statesman, Grihosova, Flash Fiction Magazine, Indus Woman Writing, Ashvamegh, The Red Morgue, Dreaming Big, to name a few.

He is busy working on his book "Calcutta in Shorts" a collection of short stories and sketches by him, to be published soon.
