I've always loved writing stories. It's the one thing I've always come back to. It's my therapy, a way to make sense of the things happening in my life.
My childhood seemed like the normal, "boring" childhood with supportive parents and friends. But the support came in form of "doing what they wanted". Which meant getting good grades, getting an education, a degree, then work the normal 9-5 job.
This didn't work out for me. I wanted to dream bigger. What if there's a world where I can do what I love and be able to live from it? What if I could write stories, inspire people, show them that even though life seems hopeless, you shouldn't give up. You should pick yourself up, get stronger, better, and show the world that no matter how hard they try to break you, they will never succeed.
The Tiger Girl is that story. It's a story about hope, courage, about meeting difficulties on the way and get out of those stronger than ever. It's about a girl dreaming of something more. It's about the girl I wish I could be, and that I might become. It's a story I hope will inspire and connect people in many ways.
I hope my book can create a place where we can all show each other the love, respect and encouragement everyone deserves.

I can't believe the story has been read this many times already! Just knowing that someone is out there, following Signe on her journey, is a huge motivation. Thank you for the support, I appreciate...View all Conversations
