@TaniHanes she had to be there... gave the story some sense of completion and fulfillment somehow daisy had a grandma figure even if her own was gone... it was just genius.. connecting the past and present

@sarafinasang Yeah, I really liked the ending! And it didn't even occur to me to put Maude on the bench in the park until I was already writing; I guess she really wanted to be there :o)
